My name is Scott Pratt

I am running for Healdsburg City Council, District 2

My family and I have called Healdsburg home since 2010.

We moved here from Southern California, where I attended school and built a strong reputation and career in commercial production. I live in Healdsburg’s District 2 with my wife Grace, an acupuncturist and a union negotiator for UNAC/UHCP, and our son Tasman, who will be leaving for college this year.

I am looking forward to using my 35-year career skills to problem-solve and face the challenges and difficult decisions that community involvement and civil service demand. That experience reinforces my belief that thoughtful, practical local leadership makes a real difference in people’s lives.

During my time serving on the board of the Anderson Valley Housing Association, working to support housing solutions and community stability, I recognize that not all problems are solved with one solution but rather a series of changes and ideas that need to be implemented and nurtured forever.

I am running because I want to ensure that when our son - and all young people - leave for college, or to otherwise begin their life journey, they will look forward to coming home to Healdsburg.

I will work to help steward Healdsburg as the welcoming, vibrant community we love and to protect its future in these unpredictable times.

My priorities include preserving neighborhood character, supporting sustainable housing and local businesses, respect for the environment, and ensuring smart fiscal stewardship so Healdsburg remains livable for current and future generations.

I ask for your support and your vote for Healdsburg City Council, District 2.
